Successful Darton Village Fete yesterday organised by @VforDarton. Thanks to the Mayor for opening and speaking to all stallholders.

Unfortunately, due to a bereavement the organisers of our dog show are unable to attend tomorrow's Darton Village Fete. Still plenty of other attractions.

Just a reminder of our VIllage Fete on Sunday. Helps to fund Christmas lights in village.

Darton Village Fete in Darton Park on Sunday 9th September from 12 noon until 4 pm. Dog Show at 2 pm.

Our greatest volunteer turnout ever today. Thanks to VFD members, @BarnsleyNthTeam, Royal Mencap, @DartonPrimary and @TWIGGS1985. Footpath cleared from Churchfield Lane to Hedge Lane and litter picked. Areas around Parish Rooms and the Co-op cut back and weeded.
