in february, we began exploring open web standards like webdriver bidi. today, we’re partnering with jason huggins—creator of selenium, appium, and now vibium—to bring webdriver bidi support to KERNEL.

.@usekernel aims to support every protocol that an AI agent need to do their work. Today we’re adding WebDriver BiDi support to our browsers, the W3C open standard for agents to access and navigate websites. This also unlocks first-class support for Vibium, a new browser agent framework from the creator of Selenium. We partnered with the Vibium team on a native Kernel integration. Give Vibium × Kernel a try and let us know how it goes!

Narrative violation: AI coding will result in the most rigorously tested, type-checked, and provably correct code in the world. First, the testing and verification feedback loop helps agents and prevents slop. Second, tests have always been a chore, but who doesn't love ✅ a high test count and checkmarks? Agents are glad to write as many tests as we want.

this is why the stack of existing testing tools are now obsolete.
