We also need to look at "capitalism", because we NO longer have it. Large monopolies who buy or cut their competition out of business is the opposite of capitalism. A free people are not obligated to work for woke monstrosities that push DEI, H-1B & off-shore our jobs. Currently large corporations don't add to community or push innovation, they block it.

Which lasts longer. Your 50 year old tools are not made the same here in America. US lumber is crappy now to

Chinese manufacturing. Made in USA car parts that would typically last 100,000 miles were replaced by Chinese made parts that last 1/5th as long. Same with tools. Low quality steel resulting in wrenches, sockets, etc that break after a few uses, whereas my American made Craftsman tools are 50 years old.
