Nurse on @NickyAACampbell’s show on @bbc5live stating that #Nursing is vocation. It emphatically isn’t.
It’s a modern knowledge-intensive, highly technical, evidenced-based, safety critical profession.
The notion that its’ a “vocation” has held the profession back for too long.

Placement emailed telling me not to expect to work with any nurses over the first 60% of placement & rarely after that. They said to work out the bare min. that I need signed off to pass as they'll do no more & that they don't 'train' students just let us be there. I'm worried 😕
