On this Veterans Day, we honor and give thanks to all U.S. military veterans, both living and deceased, for their amazing sacrifices and service. So grateful that our country's safety and security are ensured thanks to the brave and courageous men and women in uniform. Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice Day. It marked the end of World War I on November 11, but its purpose was expanded by Congress in 1954 to honor veterans of all wars and the present-day armed forces. @vickiforflorida

Yesterday I had the honor of presenting a check with @senatorileanagarcia to @voicesforchildren for $1M. So grateful to work alongside Senator Garcia and @KadieBlackstein to support the amazing work Voices does on behalf of children in foster care.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting with the Economic Council of Palm Beach County to discuss housing affordability policies and property tax reform efforts. I am grateful for their leadership and thoughts on both of these important issues. @vickiforflorida

So honored to have been invited to Washington, D.C. by @ArnoldVentures to join a bipartisan group of legislators from around the country to discuss housing policies that we have sponsored. Proud that my legislative housing efforts have been the focus of many housing discussions taking place across the U.S. as we all struggle to address the housing affordability crisis. I return to the Florida House with new ideas and excited to continue my housing efforts. @vickiforflorida

Today prayers were answered - mine, those of Jews around the world, and all of Israel. Today I can finally breathe knowing that all of the live hostages have been returned to their families. Sadly, only four of the 28 hostages that died in captivity have been returned. I will continue to pray that the remaining 24 hostages are returned as soon as possible so that families can bury their dead and begin the grieving process. I have no idea what the day after looks like but I pray that it will be one filled with hope and peace for everyone involved. The Middle East is forever changed for the better. @vickiforflorida

Today we remember the horrific and unimaginable attack on Israel that took place on October 7, 2025 where many people were killed and 251 hostages were taken to Gaza. Although many have been returned - some alive and, unfortunately, some dead - there remains 48 hostages still held in Gaza. I will not quit praying for the hostages and their families until every single hostage has been returned. I pray this will happen sooner rather than later! 🙏🇮🇱. @vickiforflorida #Israel

As the Day of Atonement begins I am wishing all of my Jewish friends and constituents a healthy and easy fast on this Yom Kippur. G’mar Chatima Tovah!! May everyone have a reflective, peaceful, and meaningful observance day filled with prayer and repentance. @vickiforflorida

Today my thoughts and prayers are with Erika Kirk as she steps on stage as a powerful voice for Charlie and his God inspired mission. Her conviction to continue the battle cry not only for America but for all of the world is nothing short of awe-inspiring. I stand firmly with her and her children as they find the strength and courage to move through their unimaginable grief. May her words encourage and inspire us to stand on the right side of the angels. Our future and that of our children and grandchildren depends on how we respond to this horrific tragedy. Rest in peace, Charlie, knowing that we will continue the good fight you began. ✝️🇺🇸🙏. @vickiforflorida

This week I had the pleasure of visiting the Rok Family Shul - Chabad Downtown Jewish Center with Representatives @JuanPorrasFL and @JenniferCanady_. Rabbi Chaim Lipskar and his wife, Deenie, welcomed us for a tour of the Shul and the Shul's preschool as well as treating us for a kosher lunch. I extend a huge thank you for all of the work of the Shul and their contributions to our community! @vickiforflorida

This week I visited @MDCollege with Representatives @JuanPorrasFL and @JenniferCanady_ for a tour of the Miami-Dade College's downtown campus. I was very excited to see all of the amazing programs available to our students! Thank you to @mdcpresident for your vision and leadership. Miami-Dade College is an extremely important asset in our community. @vickiforflorida

It was an incredible honor to be named as a Housing Champion by the Florida Housing Coalition for my role in passing the “Yes in God’s Backyard” affordable housing provision in SB1730. This leverages our faith communities in creating #affordablehousing on unused land. #fhc2025
