Spring break was great! Started it back outdoors, hitting the field in Kentucky and ended it celebrating my 13th birthday! 🥳

The girls showed a lot of heart and battled ‘til the very end in the Championship today, coming up just short in a 1-run loss in extra innings. Plenty to take away and continue to build on through the rest of the Winter, but proud of the energy and effort shown this weekend.

No games this weekend but we were able to get a solid practice in today in preparation for our last Tournament of the Fall next weekend, followed by some pumpkin carving and pizza with our Lightning family!

We won our first championship of the season! We went 6-2 this weekend. I had a great hit in the top of the 7th of the Championship game, driving in 2 RBI's. All of my teammates did an amazing job this weekend. 🖤💛 #illinoislightning
