The truth is embarrassing. One evening we were talking about the future. Kids. Money. Life goals. Then she said something that changed everything. She said. “As long as you keep succeeding, I’ll always support you.” Most people would think that’s a compliment. But something about it bothered me. I asked her one question: “What happens if I fail?” She looked at me for a few seconds… then said, “Let’s just hope that never happens.” That was the moment I knew. She loved my success. Not me.

I wish those manifesting Veekee James gowns can listen to this. You are in ikotun in a face me I face you, your highest degree is a HND from Ugbokolo Poly, but you’re manifesting a man from KPMG. You cannot hold a conversation about the most basic of taxes, your conversation revolves around what Snapchat celebrities are doing, BBN, Love Island etc and all you can offer him is “a King was born this day” and washed up pussy🤦🏽‍♀️ But I am the resident mean girl for saying girls should focus more on grinding and building a career than manifesting a rich man. Lol. One day I will talk about how as a professional woman I get to easily meet the very men you people dress up to hustle in clubs on Friday and they do not place us professionals on same cadre with club hopping girls. For one they know we have substance to offer/can increase their wealth not drain it, but we aren’t ready for this conversation. Keep manifesting when you should be working.

This is why I laugh when yall listen to women calling men deadbeats. Look at what Davido went through with Sophia…he was only asking for joint custody, and she made sure he never got it, all because he married another woman. Women know this happens often among their peers, but they will still blame you for not fighting harder. Some mothers will run away with the child, and some will tell the child that their father died or abandoned them. Women who hate accountability can go so far as to ruin their children’s lives just to prove a point. It’s very selfish and vindictive.

Woman breaks down in tears after finding out her father didn’t actually abandon her like she was led to believe as a kid. She says her mother kept him from ever seeing her again, that a part of her was taken forever, and now her dad is dëad.

The agenda you promote today, will either affect you directly or through your relationship with the opposite gender. It's a girl child that is hurting for being ended a relationship with her father. Na so e dey be

This is coming from the depth of my heart. Wallahi, this has nothing to do with politics. I swear to Almighty God. There is a very serious crisis in Nigeria especially in the North. Our society is sinking and the future is not looking promising. Poverty everywhere. Insecur!ty everywhere. Joblessness everywhere. Hopelessness everywhere. Young people have no opportunities, no direction and no hope. Nothing is working the way it should, absolutely nothing. If we refuse to confront this reality now, the consequences for our future will be devastating.

I think the hardest part of the current political climate is realizing how many people are actually just evil. Not misinformed or uneducated... just openly and happily enjoying other people's suffering.

We are overstimulated and we don't even notice. Netflix while eating. Reels in the bathroom. Music while cooking. Podcasts on walks. We consume by default, not by intention. You keep filling every gap, then wonder why you feel foggy and unmotivated. Boredom and silence are the real growth drivers. They give you space to think and create. That's when solutions show up for problems that have been stuck for months. Leave some room.
