Work done on Thames Pool (pool house, showers, etc) in the summer of 2021 was slated to cost $2-million, according to staff reports.
Zero minutes of swimming have occurred since that work was completed. Zero.
That's hard to justify.

Thanks to this map from @Climatologist49, TIL the Peace River Regional District and Fort Nelson abolished DST in 1972.
Apparently they botched it, opting for Mountain Standard Time, and failing to align with the rest of the oil patch as originally intended.
