This story instantly reminded me of my friend who kept calling me last year for financial help. Every time, he'd claim he was completely broke and needed money urgently. I always helped him until one day. When I asked why he was always begging me for money, since I knew he had a good job and steady income, he replied, "I have money, but it’s locked. That’s the only way I can stay disciplined enough to save." I told him, "Bro, use your own money. You can’t keep your funds locked while you’re hungry." Yet he refused to touch it. I sat there thinking: You’re saving your money but expecting me to dip into mine? So I don’t know how to save properly? I stopped helping him from that day. Some people are truly unbelievable. Above all, love God.

I was driving my colleague to his junction when his wife called.. "Baby, I've been trying to reach you. Gas has finished." He replied, "Okay, go and fill it." She said, "That's why I'm calling, babe. Transfer ₦10k to my Opay." He asked, "You don't have ₦10k to fill gas? Have you finished your last month's salary already?"
