Today in my role as course leader for the Occupational Therapy Degree Apprenticeship at Sheffield Hallam we celebrated the final teaching day and near qualification of these fabulous apprentices and the future of Occupational Therapy in the North West! I could not be prouder 💕

@OTalk_ Our primary offfer is training to schools and parents. We use a tiered model and offer comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments using a sensory integration frame of reference when clinically indicated. Assessments identify occupational performance and participation needs.

Excited to have welcomed our new North West Occupational Therapy Apprentices to Sheffield Hallam University!

The first occupational therapy apprenticeship was launched in 2019 with 15 apprentices. In 2023 we think there will be 900 apprentice occupational therapists. 🎉 What a fantastic thing to celebrate this #NAW2023! Find out more from @CarolynHay.
