Check out our new paper on death in animated films! Check out @enrica_b_ thread below. It amazing it was the get to work with her! She combined her interest in media with our work on children's understanding of death, and designed some cool studies. All as an undergrad!

If you are interested in mathematical thinking, gesture, or strategy choice, please check out our (gif) poster -- right here! We looked at how people gesture when explaining fraction magnitude comparisons. With @AlexViegut @amdonovan2 @SarahABrown5 and Percival Matthews.

@AcademicChatter @HLockeSTEM "Working independently" does NOT mean "work by yourself with no guidance." Science is a collaborative field, and you are in grad school to receive training and learn from others.

Myself and several other awesome researchers have designed this study in an effort to better understand how kids learn algebra! If you know any 6th-8th graders in the US who are interested in participating (virtual study!) feel free to send this gorgeous infographic their way ☺️

@xiaofei_lin But putting off work due to depression or anxiety IS procrastination. Procrastination can be (and maybe usually is) a symptom of other problems, not a sign of laziness or a moral failure.
