@hoytjchc @teachsci8 @doctor2pi Great point! Showing students how to utilize technology properly is super important for them to get the most of their 21st century education. :)

@teachsci8 A4. It starts with the teachers modeling the behavior of using and exploring technology and its their exposure to these technologies led by us that will help drive them to use tech. We must be very knowledgeable ourselves if we expect the same from them. @doctor2pi #CSUBTED

@teachsci8 @doctor2pi Technology doesn’t get to show the pro side to it when it’s overshadowed by all the negatives to it. If we let our students be given the opportunity to publish their own works in powerpoint and flipgrid it can show the the creativity it gives our students @doctor2pi #CSUBTED

@teachsci8 A4) I think that there comes a time where we have to realize that technology can be used for efficiency. When students use technology to make learning more efficient, it is a win-win situation for everyone! #csubedte4200 @Duncannedd

@Ststansberry A3) Technology can facilitate collaboration in the education field because it allows for new forms of communication. For example, teachers can communicate over a google hangout which can be more convenient for everyone. #csubedte4200 @Duncannedd

@tom_karnes A2) My favorite memory was an after school science program in elementary where all we did were some really cool science projects such as volcano eruptions. It didn't involve technology and it definitely would have made things less hands on if it did. @doctor2pi #CSUBTED

@Rebekah_Barnes6 @tom_karnes @teachsci8 This was so much fun! I agree, there wasn’t much technology. They should not use all of the paper to introduce the info to students, they could prepare PowerPoints or video presentations

@tom_karnes A2) my favorite class from high school was my photography class. We didn’t just learn to use cameras, we became proficient in photoshop. I think teaching students how to use computer programs like this can become a lifelong skill that that can use. #CSUBEDTE4200 @Duncannedd
