This was the last time that the Year 6’s were able to represent the school in a football match. They have all done brilliantly throughout the years, winning local competitions and reaching County finals.🏆

Thank you to Newbarns for organising and hosting football matches for our Year 5/6 boys and girls teams last Thursday⚽️ They boys won their game 1-0 and the girls narrowly lost 3-2. Both games were played at a high quality and were very competitive.

Our team had a great afternoon at South Lakes Safari Zoo for the @SGO_Furness Safari Orienteering event last Wednesday.🦁🐯🦏🦘🗺️

Well done to our Year 3/4 Girls Football team for reaching the County Finals⚽️ The team showed great determination and teamwork throughout the day and played with a big smile on their face. They improved with every game they played, finishing with a win💪😃. Well done girls👏💙

Our Year 5/6 Orienteering team had a great day out last week at the Orienteering Competition.☀️ They were able to use the skills they learnt at Orienteering club to navigate themselves around Barrow Park. 🗺️ They also enjoyed a play in the park.😃 @SGO_Furness

Well done to our Year 3/4 Football team who qualified for the County Finals on Wednesday.⚽️ The team played and won all 4 games without conceding a goal! Showing great teamwork, sportsmanship and skill, which was commented on by multiple members of staff from other schools!👏🩵

Our children had a great time at the Panathlon event on Monday. They had lots of fun and had a smile in their face all the way through😄 The children also managed to come 3rd Place!!🥉 Well done everyone💙
