What's next after epoch 750? We crossed epoch 750 yesterday, and the answer lies just ahead, at epoch 760, where the validator-set transition from Raditz Update v1.5.5 completes, moving AMA to a fully permissionless validator set with no hardcoded addresses and no designated operators. Raditz Update v1.5.5 introduced a major upgrade across AMA's utility, emissions, and network security: → Native Yield Vaults: lock AMA for 3, 6, or 12 months and directly back a validator → Dev fee reduced: the old automatic community-fund payout is replaced by a leaner, non-extractive treasury model → Emissions cut ~70%: a new curve (Shenron) replacing abrupt halvings with gradual, predictable issuance → Rewards rebalanced: emissions now split 50/50 between Yield Vaults and uPoW miners → Validators, decentralized: validator access earned exclusively through Yield Vault backing or uPoW performance Together, these changes strengthen AMA's security, decentralization, and economic architecture, with clearer issuance and reward accounting for exchanges. A quick update: Last week we completed the vault infrastructure. From epoch 750, validators can lock up AMA into vaults that earn staking rewards and help power our useful Proof of Work. And we're backing it with our own conviction: Amadeus is locking its company-owned wallets, close to 400M AMA, out of circulation, in vaults that earn no staking rewards. Next, we'll use our dev grants to help seed more vaults across the ecosystem. We're also opening a founding validator cohort. If that's something you'd want to be part of, reach out!
