The Raptors - I like how this chapter is very practically minded. The operate more like a Guard Regiment than a space marine chapter, and I love them for that

@LindonVoxCaster Codex: Cityfight is, incidentally, a core hobby product to get. It's fantastic, full of lore, a battle report, terrain making guides as well as the thematic rules for cityfighting. Including campaigns!

A common mistake made by both 40k newfans and oldfans is believing that your faction's lore is only found in related codexes Sometimes you will find it in places you could (correctly) presume it has none. Example: This is a excerpt of a really cool codex, Codex: Cityfight!

@Vidan2817 @AndrewZ24597481 Their drip was , in fact, immaculate. To think they would go to from that to the most drab olive color imaginable...they are still my favorite sons of Corax but the Baadab colors are so much funnier to look at/paint (sadly nobody does It)

I like that in the small lore bits knights do get, they're always the prettiest mother fuckers, like wdym you painted your rank stripes in a hue not visible to the human eye because you deem me unworthy to see them

@ChristinaTasty 2 grand installation, and then inflated electricity bills for the duration of it's use in summer. Shit's already expensive. A portable AC is more appealing though, but a full central AC is well beyond anyone's means here.

Two weeks out the year it gets stiflingly warm, I am not paying 2 grand.

@Maziodyne_ Stormblood has a slow start but it really picks up after the first dungeon and keeps going strong. Especially once you get to the patch quests. You can do it though! There's no rush, take it at your own pace. Just don't let the procrastination demons bite your behind.

@AndrewZ24597481 The classic Dreadnought oozes character, even with it's stumpy legs.

Space Marine Dreadnought - specifically the boxy ones are my favorite walkers. Yeah they are slightly goofy on their stubby legs, but they make up for that by being infinitely badass.

@HMBohemond The only time GW's ever written unreliable narrator lore was in WHFB with the Dark Elves, High Elves and Dwarfs army books in WHFB 5th edition, since all three books covered the War of the Beard from the pov of those books.

This is your casual reminder that "unreliable narrator" and "Imperium propaganda" are cope arguments when fully 99% of Warhammer 40,000's story is third person omniscient.
