@jane1170 In regards to timelines, they expect to have the whole project completed in a decade, so potentially you’re looking at 2036 or 2037 for completion.

@ViewFromTheQ How long will we be able to queue for the next couple of years? Wimbledon will ise this park to increase their courts etc I understand. Do you know more about the timeline? TY

@jane1170 Currently there are still Ongoing Appeals. The Court of Appeal allowed campaigners to challenge the original planning permission. A final appeal hearing is expected to take place to determine the ultimate fate of the project.

@BobTennis66 @davefrodo @zdzichudyrma @jamesgraysport I know quite a few people that have achieved, very long days of tennis on a ground pass and a resale ticket.

@davefrodo @zdzichudyrma @ViewFromTheQ @jamesgraysport If you’ve got a show court ticket and you are in by 1030 get on an outside court for 11 you potentially could have play until close of play at 11 o’clock so 10 hours is quite feasible. I’ve also done it by resale.

This excellent piece about the overcrowding at Wimbledon has never felt more relevant. Even today, when there will only be 30,000-ish people on site, there are queues at every single bar/concession/sponsor activation/toilet. inews.co.uk/sport/tennis/w…

@davefrodo @BobTennis66 @zdzichudyrma @jamesgraysport I think £33 for a ground pass the first six days is still good value, but an over 20% increase in ground pass prices was unexpected. I would imagine another hike next year if the players get a significant piece of the pie.
