Good job, and thanks for sharing your solution. Atm, with the way our extension is built, we don’t think it’s worth implementing Channel Points for non-Affiliates. Since all attacks are currently free, it doesn’t make much sense to make them Channel Points rewards. We’ll postpone this feature until non-Affiliates can add Bits costs to attacks

@ViewerAttack My work around, is when a user logs in, attempt to create a reward if they have a blank broadcaster type. If it get's created then delete it or you get the error "at rewards", flag them as having channel points.
Any other response basically means they don't have them.

@Jaku Yeah, we discovered that too this afternoon. So in the end, this update doesn’t really change anything for extensions yet. Maybe they’ll release something new for extensions in the future, let’s see

@ViewerAttack Twitch API doesn't return anything differently for broadcaster types on onboarded users either so you can't tell the difference between a user without channel points available and one with them unless they are the affiliate/partner.

Hey @ViewerAttack does this effect using the fact that if my veiwers fill the bar on my screen by using the stuff you enable them to "throw at my screen" they can force me to end stream at all or am I good?

Twitch has updated the Bits Acceptable Use policy for the first time since 2018. Key changes: - Bits can now ONLY be used for things on Twitch. (An explicit ban on using Bits for anything off-platform or of monetary value, ie. Movie Night, Merch, etc.) - Much stricter enforcement, including a new "forfeiture clause" which essentially says they can take your Bits (no compensation) for any violation. - Officially kills the "Ads for Bits" product (leftover language; that product has been dead for years).
