In the cartoon Sid the Science Kid every character's ethnicities are left intentionally ambigous but in Sid the Science Kid The Movie Sid gets a rival who is the smartest kid on Earth and he is explicitly Chinese.

"We"? There is no "we", actual black fans of anime don't and NEVER have begged for representation. We understood that its Japan and surprised when there's a black character in the anime, but never once begged. If you're going to be in this hobby, then be respectful.
