i am officially retiring from #ffxiv i've been playing the game since 1.0 and it's time i let go. game has been super fun and i may play casually at some point but it's time to move on from hc raiding. It was a good ride and it's very bittersweet. Thanks for all the memories XIV

@tanhongyi90 @FateFalse So I think given the bad pattern of changes because people complained instead of learning and dunbing things down a lot, players are very worried the combat will feel empty

@tanhongyi90 @FateFalse A big part of the doom and gloom is XIV has taken a lot of bad steps to end up whwre we are today. We dont get anything out of it. They just take things away. First it was class homogenization. Then it was 3 minute and 90s taken away. Then it was 60s are personal only.

I get why jobs like SAM and DRG shouldnt have combos combined, but why are we acting like pressing 1-2-3 instead of 1-1-1 is skill expression? Are we saying machinist is harder to play than bard because it has a combo💀

@pmakshou @Sindalf the problem is you say this... but they have constantly just taken away things form the game. i don't exactly expect them to add extra buttons when people complain about button bloat.

@Sindalf Honestly people who are complaining about this don’t understand that they now can also add more new buttons eventually as the game grows again. You have to consolidate in order to add newer buttons eventually unless you want to end up using 4 hotbars for all your skills.

Rewatching the dev panel on evolved jobs and the cheering I hear when they announce combining combos into a single button is truly disheartening.
