Our next stop was the lighthouse in Port au Choix which serves both communities here and Port Saunders. A herd of caribou have made this location home for years now and you are bound to see them while visiting.

The last boat coming into the harbour before total darkness sets in. Everyone is safe again and all the boats are accounted for.

More folks watching the sunset and check out the convertible! They don’t make them that good anymore. Over 65 years old and still running fine.

Just another wonderful sunset at the lighthouse. I often come here to watch these at around 9 PM these days but the days will soon begin to get shorter now.

Another noteworthy sunset last night along the coast, and with the sunny day we are having again here today we will probably see another one of these around 8PM tonight. I love sunny days and colourful sunsets….

A beautiful sunset last night along the ocean following a nice sunny spring day. I am glad to see another winter over with again.

Under a sky of endless stars, the caribou roam—wild and free. ✨

Only hours after the great sunset last night we then had a full moon brightly showing at the lighthouse. Did you have a chance to see it last night?

A view taken in the mountains around here. It is always so beautiful in these mountains on a sunny day. Years ago we would have been on our snowmobiles and heading up there which we often did on days just like this.
