Okay, I have had enough of the fucking Canadians crying about America not helping them fight the fires that are a result of their childish forest management policies. Here is the truth about this bullshit. Aerial firefighters are almost exclusively private companies who operate not out of altruism, but for profit. Canada’s government blocks these American companies from being reimbursed and will only pay Canadian aerial fire fighting companies to operate in Canada. An interesting side note: America pays Canadian companies to fight fires here, and we pay better, and as a result, they are eager to work here. Their efforts are also not altruistic and that’s fine. Canada sent over $25B to Ukraine because Canadians have decided they are European now and much more evolved than those gauche Americans to their south. They SHOULD have been spending that money on better forest management and more fire bombers and the crews to man them. But, as usual, their fallback plan was to turn to the south and put their hands out. Since that hasn’t worked this time, they are now taking to social media to cry about it like the entitled little bitches they have become (not you Alberta, you’re cool). When Trump started calling out Canada for not pulling their own weight, Canadians took to social media to say, “Fuck America, we don’t need you! We’ll buy from China….”, blah blah. Well, call fucking China to fight your fires and refuse to pay them while you’re at it, you unspeakable cunts. If you want our help, ask for it and stop demanding it, and pay our companies for their time. If not, they will go out of business and won’t be here for us. Alternatively, we could help you out by prohibiting your fire fighters from operating here, like you do to us. That will free them up to deal with the consequences of using happy thoughts and songs about sunshine as forest management tools. Now, shut the fuck up and get back to making your delicious syrup.
