I’m not worried. We may have to consider offers in the summer and even then im not worried — we would command a fee of above £120m. If you look at Caicedo/Isak deals….hes arguably just as if not more important to us. A sale would set us up for years. If he stays we’ve got a great player. #avfc

@Bisqwit Conceding to 10-men Brentford is poor enough as it is, let alone going on to lose the game.
Given our long-term injuries, I’d say this is quite concerning for the run-in on the top 5.

Not a lot wrong with the performance. What the disallowed goal did was show that they were open enough to concede, so within 2 mins they had a 5 man defence & packed everyone in the box.
Barring a long range effort, which they were expecting they were set

Let’s be honest, we’re all moaning at this like we weren’t up against 10-men Brentford at home, we shouldn’t need this in order to not lose.
It was an embarrassing result, this incident is taking away from the bigger picture.

Quality players will typically outperform xG because they’re better than the average.
We outperform xG because we have midfielders who are great at hitting the ball from distance (Tielemans, Onana, Rogers, Mcginn).

But our depth is our biggest strength, Malen came on and changed the game.
