We know the Northern and Southern Air Temples were for male Air Nomad monks, while the Eastern and Western Air Temples were for female Air Nomad nuns. If the monks and nuns lived in separate temples and didn’t get married, how did new Airbenders continue to be born?

@Ranting_Trans Air Nomads having some sort of orgies has never been indicated to be a thing in canon. Monks and nuns could simply travel together and they were allowed to form relationships (they just didn't marry nor form traditional family units.)

They would actually regularly have exchanges and meetups with the other temples (again they are the air NOMADS) and they would just kinda turn into fuck fests for a bit. But it is part of the reason why their population is so small

Little Utena apologizes but she needs to go. That girl is waiting for her. She asks them to guide her once more.

@fee1thebern @kenny_gng He was very much not a spiritbender. The whole reason he died was because he did not have that solution. Spiritbending was created by Makittuq during Roku's era.
Kuruk died because killing dark spirits gave him like a curse/spiritual sickness that slowly took his life force.

@kenny_gng To take it a step further Kuruk was the first official spirit bender. To stop the evil spirits invasion He faught Father Glowworm, using his own life energy as fuel and given him the ability to continuously fight in the avatar state. Thats why he died so young though sacrifice

And failure? Korra grew up in isolation so when she told Mako that Naga was her bff, it wasn't an exaggeration. If it weren't for Naga, Korra would have prob grown up differently without a friend her age to play with.
