Am I in the wrong? I was scheduled to work 8am to 4pm. I show up to my shift early and then my manager shows up and decides she wants me to close and come in later because she doesn't feel like closing. I told her that this wasn't discussed with me beforehand and I have already made prior engagements, which means I can't just all of a sudden work a different shift that I wasn't informed about until now. So instead she got upset and just told me that if I won't close then she doesn't want me here at all and sent me home. Like am I in the wrong here?

The compromise would be for him to take showers as his conscious dictates and her to take showers as hers dictates. There is no way my husband is dictating MY showers. Period.
