Today I’m by the Prime Minister’s Office protesting against a broken system and calling for justice for Henry Nowak. Henry died before the eyes of the police officers who were meant to protect him. What happened is terrifying, which is why we must raise our voices!

An 18-year-old student Henry was stabbed to death with a 21cm Sikh ceremonial knife.
He was lying in a pool of his own blood, saying “I can’t breath”.
Yet the attacker cried ‘racism’ — so police handcuffed the dying teen and left him to choke out instead of saving him.

18-year-old Henry Nowak was stabbed by 23-year-old Vikrum Singh Digwa on December 3rd, 2025 in Southampton.
Digwa was carrying a large Kirpan - a ceremonial blade worn by Sikhs. Video footage used in court shows Nowak and Digwa interacting during early hours, with Nowak referring to him jokingly as a 'bad man, noticing his displayed Kirpan.
In reaction, Digwa stabbed Nowak multiple times, inflicting four stab wounds and a cut to the jaw. These stab wounds were to his back of the legs and chest.
Digwa has claimed self defence, alleging Nowak was drunk, barged into him, made racially offensive remarks, knocked his turban and grabbed it. However, Nowak's defence argues that the knife attack was unprompted.
According to court testimony, Henry Nowak had consumed alcohol, but at a level below the UK drink-drive limit.
When police artificer, Digwa allegedly told officers that he had been racially abused, leading to them handcuffing Nowak as he bled out from his injuries.
Reports indicate that Nowak informed "I have been stabbed," and police dismissed this. "I don't think you have, mate."
Nowak died on the scene from blood loss.
