Did over 1000 miles this weekend in a Tesla with supervised self driving.
Touch the wheel maybe 10 times. Dozed off 3 times and it woke me up everytime. It yell at me for looking at my phone 23 times, main screen too long 17 tims.
It handled every situation even when i was unsure about the road markings. Within 5 mins you realize that it's a better, more aware driver than you, trusting it going 85mph in MadMax mode as you enjoy the scenery.
The future was yesterday. Ai is here.

@HIprivateEye @Heebie314 tesla will add many hours to the drive because of the charging. The charging stops are welcomed on these long drives.

I'm looking forward to this technology becoming available on ALL Vehicles makes/models. I've even suggested it to our transportation department, Tesla and the White House.

@idontexistTore i remember rigging bungee cords to simulate pressure on the wheel back then. Sunglasses don't really work. If it cant get a good read it starts asking you to touch the wheel. Thinking about making glasses with googly eyes to hack this new version.

@VincentCrypt46 In the beginning, Tesla would monitor the weight or your movement on the steering wheel. Now it actually looks at your eyes. The only way to properly take a nap is by wearing sunglasses.
