Comp update: Kirk Cousins will sign a five-year, $172 million deal with the Raiders that in reality is a one-year, fully-guaranteed $20 million deal that also contains a club option for two years at $80M.
The Falcons will pay Cousins $8.7 million this season, the Raiders another $1.3 million and Las Vegas also agreed to pay its new QB a fully-guaranteed $10 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2027 new league year.
And maybe most notably, it also sets another new mark: this will be the 11th straight NFL season in which Cousins’ contract will be fully guaranteed.
Alright!
Now that these monstrosities will officially be behind us, who is the first player that comes to mind when you see these uniforms? #DirtyBirds#AtlantaFalcons#NewUniforms
ATLANTA’S ASCENT: At the All-Star break, the Atlanta Hawks were 10th in the Eastern Conference at 26-30. Since then, they have gone an East-best 17-3 to climb to fifth in the conference at 43-33, powered by All-Star Jalen Johnson and rising guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Over that span, they rank second in the NBA in defensive rating and fourth in points per game. The Hawks look to move closer to a spot in the NBA Playoffs presented by Google when they visit the Orlando Magic tonight at 7pm/et on NBA League Pass.
The Falcons new jerseys will have "Dirty Birds" on the inside collar and they wore silver pants at that time.
Hopefully, this means that the Falcons will wear silver/gray pants with their new primary uniforms but I'm fearing plain, stripeless pants in white, red and black.
