Do we have a xenophobia issue in Irish football, in particular club football ? Dundalk were often ridiculed for all of their ‘foreign failure’ signings in 2020. (made EL GS, won a cup, finished 3rd) Their current squad has 12 signings from the UK, which is seen as a non-issue.

@TheIrishKieran Next manager markets especially when an organization aren’t in a rush are a minefield and should be avoided. But when word is coming out from various journos that the process is coming to an end then you can look to the markets imo

@TheIrishKieran I think the FAI would’ve got called amateurish had they jumped in & named a replacement straight away & also called amateurish now for going through a process, including interviews with people who prob won’t get the job, but that’s being thorough.
