@Dega_Vintage I’m attracted to the idea of limiting a collection to a certain size.
Someone on here is doing that, with 50 cards being their #. To buy a new card you have to sell one.
In that mode, market moves don’t matter because you’re selling one at the same time that you’re buying.

I can count on one hand how many cards I need to obtain before they are just too far out of reach. All of which I have owned before is the crazy thing…

I don’t sell much. When I do it is duplicates from set builds. I honestly offer them dirt cheap as I want to help someone else with their build.
I cannot list them low enough to avoid the “would you take X” ask.

Is it just human nature to low ball a little, even if it’s not substantial, just to feel like you’re getting a deal? I think it is.
It’s why I normally try to price stuff at shows just $5-10 higher because I feel like if I ask $210 for something I will have someone offer $200

I mistakenly listed this Nolan Ryan $300 under comps on eBay. I immediately received an offer $50 under my list price ($350 under comps). People are so greedy man—if he had just taken it at full I would’ve shipped and not even checked comps. I realized my mistake, denied the offer, and revised the price $300 higher and it immediately sold at full. 😆
