Looking at it more closely, what I’m assuming happened was the right hinge completely locked. Even though the whole section is disconnected from the screen, it won’t budge in either direction.

Despite this being the art fight with the most efficient output I've had, I won't be able to continue. My laptop broke out of nowhere despite having the ability to turn from laptop to tablet. The right hinge broke and cracked the screen
