So, I'm gonna go on a bit of a rant again—sorry in advance.
Since Easter, I've been a total mess, to be completely honest. I've had a huge identity crisis and have started seeing a therapist—especially to deal with some of the traumas I've had in recent years and when I was a teen.
For this reason, it's been difficult for me to work properly, and I've fallen behind schedule. I've kept disappointing myself in many ways, but today I've decided that I'm done feeling sorry for myself. From this day forward, I'm gonna change for the better. After all, there's only one person who can change my life, and that person is me.
So, after watching House of Cards yesterday, I thought to myself, perhaps not too rationally, that since a president's first 100 days are so important and intense, perhaps I should put the same level of importance on the next 100 days of my life.
That means I'll go all out on Text Me Back and on bettering my life for the next 100 days and make an update on here every day, detailing what I did every single day to keep myself accountable.
Day 1/100:
- Went to the gym. I had a great workout, but damn, I got weak over the years. Can't believe I used to be almost thrice as strong as I am right now.
-Went for a run and felt like an old man, but it'll get better.
-Reread a bit of my script to get into the right mindset for writing.
-Rewrote some Daisy lines as there were some leaps of logic that the character wouldn't make.
-Went to the library for four and a half hours to write, which means I'm now almost done with the next portion of the script. Hoping to write more tonight.
Will be back with Day 2/100 tomorrow!
