I was gonna get out of hospital today but I sneezed last night so that won me an extra day and morphine. Sneezing is dangerous and painful, I do not recommend.

I opened Twitter here at the hospital, saw a lot of drama and respectfully decided to ignore and focus on the huge cut on my stomach

It was on Thursday. I did not eat on Wednesday.

I posted this and disappeared and it would've been such a dark last post but I'm alive. Couldn't post because I was in ICU for the past 2 days. Probably gonna be out tomorrow but not sure.

God this is so much worse than I could have imagined

Going to the bathroom is such a struggle bc I've got an IV access and I have to carry the thing around. After surgery I'll simply not be able to do this. Incredible how simple things become too much so fast. It's nearly midnight, I have no hopes of falling asleep and the nurse said she'll be waking me up at 2am, and I won't be able to sleep afterwards.

Thor and Loki are home! They are very scared of course, bc they lived in the same big home with several cats for 6 months, but they'll be adapted in no time. They accept being petted and carried, but they are scared of exploring too much. They woke us up at night a few times (Thor's meows are exactly like a small dog crying and Loki's are very loud) but we were more than happy to hear them vocalizing (they were quiet the whole day). They explored more at night, they ate, drank water and used the litter box. Loki found his bed and slept there, but Thor was too scared to sleep in the open (he slept under our bed). Today I'll be hospitalized and I'll be out on Thursday (hopefully), so I'll miss the whole adaptation part :c

Europeans go and say this claiming "It's cold here so we don't need to shower daily" meanwhile taking public transport in Europe feels like walking in an open toilet bc everyone smells like shit. I remember we had to tell a French researcher to shower more often bc no one could stand being near him.

Cortei a mão e fui pro hospital tarde da noite. Esperei horas com uma meia na ferida. Na triagem falaram que não precisava de ponto, só curativo (que eu teria que esperar mais umas 3 ou 4 horas pra fazer). Fui embora pra fazer o curativo em casa. Porém trabalho em laboratório biosseguro com vírus altamente patogênicos, então no dia seguinte fui num medico particular. Ele disse que tinha que ter dado ponto e que eu teria que ficar 5 dias longe do trabalho por risco de contaminação com a ferida aberta. Se tivesse dado ponto, era mais rápido 🤡

Produto de limpeza também tem contaminação. Tem uma porrada de bactérias e fungos que são resistentes a produtos de limpeza, e fábricas desse tipo de produto têm que tomar muito cuidado com biofilme porque é praticamente impossível eliminar depois. A ype mesmo teve contaminação com pseudomonas ano passado, nessa mesma unidade de Amparo.

Aqui em casa tá o com final 1 no lote. Mas a fabricação é 2025. Tá com problema? Tem que jogar fora?

I'm gonna spend most of the next week at the hospital. I'll be admitted this Sunday, my surgery will be on Tuesday and I'll probably be out on Thursday. God help me I'll be so bored I might end up writing again. I'm gonna go get my cats tomorrow and I won't spend any time with them.
