We are pleased to partner with @Apertura_GTX in a strategic manufacturing collaboration to support gene therapy programs using TfR1 CapX, a next-generation AAV capsid designed to target human Transferrin Receptor 1 (hTfR1). Through Viralgen’s integrated AAV manufacturing platform, Apertura licensees will have access to TfR1 CapX plasmid to support the progression of gene therapy programs from research to clinical development. This collaboration brings together Apertura’s capsid engineering expertise and Viralgen’s scalable AAV manufacturing capabilities and CMC services to support the development of investigational gene therapies. Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Antigua Luberri , Zumaia BHI, and @Goierrieskola1 as part of the FP/Parke initiative. During their visit, students had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the manufacturing of advanced therapies and the daily activities in a biotech environment, as well as speak with members of our team. There were many thoughtful questions and a strong interest in learning more about the world of #genetherapies. We’re proud to take part in initiatives like this one, promoted by @HETELFP , @ikaslangipuzkoa , and the @ParkeEuskadi . Thank you for including us—connecting industry with young #talent and #inspiring future STEM careers is incredibly important.
