Mr R, my love since I was 15, my husband and life mate of 57 years, passed from this life at 3:04 a.m. I was with him, rubbing his feverish forehead with a cool cloth and telling him I’d love him forever. I am now a widow and am oddly shattered & numb at the same time.

I’ve written 100+ books over 39 yrs. Writing Mr R’s obituary tonight, trying to pack a life of adventure, creativity, kindness, generosity, & humor into a few brief paragraphs while seated beside him, listening to his ragged breathing, was the hardest thing I’ve ever written.💔

It was a little women modern adaptation so I was skeptical (I am fiercely protective of Louisa may Alcott and all things little women) but this book was SO well done and well written omg. If you can, go check out “Meg and Jo” by @VirginiaKantra ASAP. it’s FANTASTIC‼️
