🚨🚨 BREAKING: Virginia Tech is set to host a “Death to the Academy” event featuring Dr. Mohamed Abdou, the former Columbia University academic who was fired in 2024 after openly praising Hamas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad in the wake of the October 7 massacre. Promotional materials for the event include images of armed terrorists outside the Al-Aqsa Mosque with the message “Victory will be ours,” along with Hamas’s red triangle symbol. Abdou is scheduled to “teach lessons from Palestinian terrorists” and discuss the so-called “crescendo of US-Zionist aggression,” as part of a tour aimed at “escalating student organizing” after October 7. This is not education—it’s indoctrination pushing antisemitism, support for terrorism, Marxist/decolonial ideology, and outright anti-Americanism. Our taxpayer-funded universities are actively working against American values, promoting communism, radicalism, and division instead of fostering critical thinking or national cohesion. Viral funding must be pulled. Public dollars, alumni donations, and federal support should not bankroll institutions that platform hatred and work to undermine the country that sustains them. Schools failing to uphold basic standards of civil discourse and rejecting extremism need real consequences—defund the ideology destroying higher education from within. #DefundUniversities #VirginiaTech #StopAntisemitism #TaxpayerDollars #AmericaFirst #CampusRadicalism #EndUniversityIndoctrination #NoMoreHateFunding

I am not ok with my Alma Mater doing this! Who thinks they should stop receiving federal funding? 🚨🚨BREAKING: Virginia Tech is set to host a “Death to the Academy” event featuring notorious antisemite Dr. Mohamed Abdou, who was fired from Columbia University in 2024 for explicitly supporting terrorists. Promotional event materials show armed terrorists outside the Al-Aqsa Mosque alongside the message “Victory will be ours,” and Hamas’s red triangle symbol. 🚨 Timothy Sands is the president of Virginia Tech. He makes a whopping salary of $925,000, and approx $400,000 per year in additional perks/benefits. President Sands is hosting former Columbia University professor Mohamed Abdou to speak to his students on a tour called 'Death to the Akademy.' - "I believe in an Islam that hates America." - "God damn America." - "Be proud of your hate for America." -"I believe in jihad." Professor Abdou was fired from Columbia University for his public support of Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Oct 7th massacres. He is a Canadian citizen. Virginia Tech is on track to receive $432 MILLION in taxpayer federal funding for 2026-2027. No comment from our Education Secretary, Linda McMahon. @EDSecMcMahon H/T @MichelleMaxwell

Microplastics are everywhere: in our environment, drinking water, & increasingly, the food we eat. But finding them in seafood has been slow & tedious, making routine testing nearly impossible. Now, a new Virginia Tech-led study could change that. 🔗: go.vt.edu/uofeK
