Just spent 9h going through all of the #DiabloIV news drops today SUMMARY (ONLY THE BIG STUFF) - Torment 12 = Pit 100 - Map overlay confirmed - Uniques have random affixes, can be tempered - Cube crafting allows targeting affixes - Uber Mephisto - Lots of uniques, war plans nodes, etc revealed - Giga multiplicative dmg stats on gear (crit, vuln, DoT, element, ...) - Shroud mythic = cheat death - 5pc class sets generic but large multis (~5x) - Paragon additive nodes halved, glyph additive -30% - Glyph max level 150 - Lucky Hit: Resource -60% - LH: Vulnerable = gone - Gems go beyond "Grand" - Multi-transfiguration (old sanctification) possible - Mythic Seals seem to exist (no screens) - GAs = 25% bonus down from 50% now - Amulet + legendary transfiguration = ultimate endgame chase item OTHER BIG EXPANSION STUFF (Old News) - Skovos region - Horadric cube crafting - Talisman: Charms + Sets - New Skill Tree for all classes (tons of customization) - Paladin + Warlock - Loot filter - etc etc (got tons of vids out already) Will keep you guys posted here and on my channels as much as I can, lots of guide prep to be done in the next days! Ran up a $1500 dinner tab and when the receipt came back they had those cute little “suggested tips” printed like I’m supposed to casually drop another $300 just because someone carried plates from kitchen to table. I left $25 which honestly felt generous considering I already paid restaurant-level prices for the food itself. Server immediately got weird about it, attitude switched, barely a thank you, just that tight smile people do when they think you violated some unspoken rule. I told her straight up tipping isn’t a percentage subscription service and I’m not funding someone’s rent just because the bill happened to be high. Manager wandered over trying to smooth it out, hinting about “industry standards” like that magically obligates me. That only made me dig in harder because nowhere else do you get charged more for the exact same task just because the total went up. So I signed it exactly how it was, stood up, and walked out while they all stared like I committed financial treason, and if they think I’m coming back there to play along with that system again they’re seriously confused. Here’s an idea for the US. How about pay your staff a significantly better salary and require that they do excellent service as a part of their job. Then refuse tips as they are deemed “unnecessary” as part of the USP and charge them what you want for the food and drinks and see if the customers appreciate a different model where servers are paid by the restaurant not the customer. It may just catch on…

You are a dick. I’ll be the first to admit that tipping culture has started engaging in excesses. But if you are at a restaurant, you’re eating at a place where servers depend on tips. It’s not like their salaries are that good. If you can afford to eat out where a single bill is over $1000, then you can afford to tip nicely. No, I’m not saying the servers are entitled to it.
