I see, ok so it’s more like manifesting worsening underlying symptoms since it’s obviously not treating them on top of withdrawal symptoms which can vary based on the medication class as well as the individual, durations they were taking it as well as how quickly it was tapered off. Going based on DSM-5 to diagnose mental illness is so tricky since a lot of the symptoms can overlap, it’s much different from medicine where we diagnose an illness with objective as well as subjective data and treat it and have objective data to support our treatment plan. Symptoms don’t usually manifest the same way. There’s a lot more panic and insomnia and terror and physical discomfort with withdrawal, amongst other symptoms. A lot of people will have the original diagnosis of severe anxiety, or severe depression (and maybe even schizophrenia), but withdrawal looks different. So you’d see if there was a dose change, prior to worsening symptoms, and you’d compare to the original diagnosis. That’s just off the top of my head. Some severe protracted withdrawal can look completely insane. Like akathisia. That’s very very very different from severe depression or anxiety but still commonly misdiagnosed as sudden onset schizophrenia. And more importantly if the underlying issue is getting worse on medications, they should be removed! Because you can’t differentiate between the underlying problem worsening or side effects but likely that’s side effects.

@FlerfCrusher @sweatystartup Well highly doubt that these “minors” were 6 years old, also questioning the validity of the so called “studies” Ok even IF no adverse effects and it’s well tolerated what the indication for a minor ?

@Vis_ii @sweatystartup The few studies done on minors don’t have any adverse effects and it is well tolerated.

My 6 yr old son has had behavior problems. A week ago I started: 2.5 mg of creatine 150 mg of magnesium glycinate 200 mg theanine 500 mg sodium 200 mg potassium I mix it all into 6 oz water with the electrolyte stick for flavor (salt of the earth) in the morning. It has been a massive success. Behavior way better.
