Just got back from GDC 2026. Across many talks, many booths, and especially in hallways and eddies, lurked the uncomfortable murmur of "A.I. survival" anxiety. Here's what nobody said out loud. The developers who thrive won't be the ones who adopt A.I. fastest. They'll be the ones who know what to do with it and where to stake their creative and ethical boundaries. IP gold isn't mined by algorithms. It's forged by creative, visionary PEOPLE who understand why great stories and experiences matter across every screen, platform, and generation, and esp. why 'the PLAY's the thing!'
