Rockstar's $80 price for Grand Theft Auto 6 is less than half what the game is worth, one analyst has suggested. bit.ly/44NJzOl

@WalmartCAGaming Have you been there lately? Not much to see.
English

@mindingottawa @AnitaAnandMP @GAC_Corporate Absolutely shocked. The Liberals have treated the office like a piggy bank for over the last year. @brucefanjoy any chance we will find out what the staff was up to?

@Victor_Lucas The Liberal government caused a housing and medical service crises. Our current immigration minister is a landlord with 14 units… Absolutely insane.

@StewartGreen81 @StuntmanStu Notice would have brought thousands of people to all already crowded area with most of it fenced off for Bluesfest with not enough room for even more people.
English

@VisionaryLight @StuntmanStu Residents have advance notice of the competition. There was none for this. Epic fail by the City.
English

@StewartGreen81 @ctvottawa @ottawacity Then again theres a fireworks competition that’s been going on for 30 years just across the river.
English

@ctvottawa If @ottawacity was so concerned about “public safety”, why allow the fireworks at all?
Working people, families with young children and folks with pets are rightly upset. This was yet another colossal mistake by the City.
English

City of Ottawa did not inform public about fireworks display for ‘public safety’ reasons ctvnews.ca/ottawa/article…
English

@StewartGreen81 @ctvottawa @ottawacity @_MarkSutcliffe The thousands of people already in the area for Bluesfest.

Unexpected fireworks display at Bluesfest kept secret for ‘public safety’ ctvnews.ca/ottawa/video/2…
English

@StewartGreen81 @ctvottawa @ottawacity @_MarkSutcliffe There’s a fireworks competition every summer at Casino Lac Leamy for 30 years just down the street.
English

@ctvottawa “To keep crowds away”. How pathetic an excuse is that @ottawacity @_MarkSutcliffe
Just insulting. Residents were frightened! It was a weeknight, and the fireworks were set off in the dead of night!! Kids! Working parents!! Pets!!
Give your head a shake!!
Say something, Mayor!
English

@ctvottawa Like wtf. Put them in a safe place and then double up next year. Ridiculous error.
English

@ottawagurl1996 @ctvottawa They were already set up. It was the safest option to use them then dismantle them. They definitely could not wait till August.
English

@ctvottawa I hate to say this, but only in the nations capital, the city with a night mayor, would keep an amazing event like this secret. What a really stupid idea. Why not just save them until the August long weekend when everyone could enjoy them? #Disappointing #Ottawa #Really?

Earlier today, an individual brought an unexploded WW2 grenade to the #OttawaOPP Detachment for disposal. The #OPP would like to remind the public that if you find such items, please do not transport them to your local police station. This could obviously prove extremely dangerous to the person bringing the item and others around. If you find an unexploded ordinance, leave it where it is and contact your local police. The police will arrange for their Explosives Disposal Unit to attend to safely discard the item.

@MaryDon55894508 @_tuxedocat @Miss77Murphy @ctvottawa How many thousands of people do you want in a small area? What will happen when they all want to leave at the same time?
English

Those fireworks you heard in Ottawa last night were the Canada Day fireworks.
ctvnews.ca/ottawa/article…
English

@VisionaryLight @Miss77Murphy @ctvottawa Actually people's complaint is that they went out all day Canada. They got stuck in the rain fireworks canceled and then they're rescheduled without giving anyone notice to be able to watch them, use your brain.
English

@StewartGreen81 @ctvottawa @ottawacity This was a decision by the event staff at the city of Ottawa to not add thousands of more people to the downtown streets with the already high numbers with Bluesfest.
globalnews.ca/news/11961587/…
English

@VisionaryLight @ctvottawa @ottawacity It’s not about adding more people, it’s about warning local residents that ridiculous loud fireworks will be going off in the dead of night. It’s a simple courtesy for families with young children and pets.
English

@Miss77Murphy @ctvottawa The complaints are from people who want fireworks banned. This is their opportunity to complain.
English

@ctvottawa What's up with the complaints? They were absolutely stunning and from where I live I see all the fireworks including Sound and Light. They were amazing. To quote the late Allan Fotheringham "Ottawa. The town that fun forgot."
