@nickytrup The Merchant’s Yard in Tideswell is boutique-y. Jump on the 65 bus from Sheffield and take the scenic route direct to Tideswell.

@nervouscrying It used to make magnets - years ago. When that factory closed, an industrial glove company took over the site....and then the current Frozen Food distributors. Not aware of any human sacrifices, although there are always strange goings on during our annual Wakes Week....

@nervouscrying It's a water pumping station that supplied the mill for the magnet factory which used to be next door. It's now a Holdsworth Food depot and shop. Locally we call it the Witch's Hat.

Merchant’s Yard is planning to reopen on 17th May. Can’t wait!

Right. The December holiday is now 100% fucked. Couldn't shift it to after lock-down. Does anyone have any recommendations for pretty villages/towns for December - couple of nice pubs/restaurants, some decent walks?
