Our visual art students once again swept the @pasadenarodeotx Art Auction, selling their work for a combined $19,500. Congratulations to all 3 schools that placed, and the talented teachers who devote their time and effort to help these students succeed.

We’re proud to share that Carolyn Figueroa from Milstead MS is a finalist in the 2025 I Am Texas writing and art contest hosted by The Bryan Museum! Her artwork, Texas Pictures, will be featured in the Historian’s Journal and displayed at the Museum from Sept 26–Nov 23.⭐

Issaura Perez was recognized tonight at the PISD Board Meeting for her artwork which sold at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Student Art Auction for $51,000 on March 16th. The drawing is a titled: Busted The Hay Bandit. Lot 12. Reserved Mixed Media Champion.

@rodeoaustin's Art Contest was a blast! Many of our high school students earned spots in the silent art auction, but Dobie's Sophia G. brought home the title of Reserve Champion! This painting will be part of the live auction in March!

Pasadena ISD students visit #NationalPortfolioDay in Austin! NPD gives them a chance to meet with counselors, admission team members, and faculty from accredited art and design schools around the world for free portfolio reviews.
