@MayorofLondon But how come your messages about who can travel to work are different from the Government's? I signed up for gov.uk/coronovirus notifications to help make appropriate decisions, yet now see that you have been pumping out messages that contradict Government. Very confusing.

@MayorofLondon @bbclondon But Government instruction is that "those who cannot work from home and have to travel to work can continue to do so". It is really confusing that the Mayor of London is giving out messages that contradict the Government's.

The number of people using our transport network has reduced massively, but everyone must follow the Government’s instructions to only travel if absolutely essential.
By using public transport when you don’t have to, you are putting countless lives at risk. @bbclondon

@MayorofLondon Your messages don't align with Government's. For example, yesterday the Sec' of State wrote to those working in manufacturing stating 'there is no restriction on manufacturing continuing under the current rules', yet you say only key workers can travel to work. It's confusing.

1. Travel to work (only if you're a key worker)
2. Exercise once a day (but keep 2m distance at all times)
3. Get food or urgent medical supplies
4. Provide care or help to a vulnerable person
