every tech leader keeps screaming that ai is going to replace the human workforce but they are fundamentally misunderstanding what intelligence actually is the people building these models are overwhelmingly coders they look at the economy through a screen, so they assume any task involving logic or text can be fully automated and for the middle of the workflow, they are absolutely right ai operates on a simple statistical loop > it predicts > evaluates > and adjusts. it is the ultimate optimizer, it can write your smart contracts, draft your technical docs, and process onchain data exponentially faster than you ever will but here is the massive blind spot the engineering world is ignoring: the machine cannot decide what to actually work on, they always have to be tell on what to work on and that why you prompt it chapgpt, claude, gemini and the rest can look at you and start doing something , never deciding what matters requires a value system and values do not come from a massive dataset they come from having a body, living a life, making mistakes, and actually caring about an outcome an ai can write a perfectly structured poem about the smell of cinnamon because it understands the statistical relationship of those words but it has no grandmother, it has no childhood it has no emotional context to know why that memory matters to a human being it is the exact same in crypto, an ai can write the code for a perfectly optimized defi protocol, but it cannot sit in a discord and feel the pulse of a frustrated community it cannot build genuine trust with a skeptical founder, it has no skin in the game this is why the doom narrative gets it entirely backwards the machine handles the raw production the human handles the judgment if your only skill is mechanically processing information, your job is may completely be dead but if your edge is human taste, empathy, and deciding what problems actually matter to society, your value just went up 100x what is the one part of your daily workflow that relies purely on human gut feeling that no model could ever replicate?
