@BenHouston3D I started with QBasic. And so my intuition is that the best is some 2D environment where you can call line(x1,y1,x2,y2), circle(x,y,r) etc from for() loops and if() conditionals in order to do repeating patterns, symmetric shapes etc. Something like QBasic or Processing?

So my 10yr old daughter is asking for me to teach her how to code computer graphics. I need something that has immediate gratification/results. I am thinking of teaching her the basics of shader programming in @iquilezles's ShaderToy.com. Anyone try that?

@Jess_Riedel Thanks for sharing, really good blog post! Do you know other sources that explore what's the best way to explain typically-badly-explained topics (in maths and physics alike), if that makes sense?

The Hamilton-Jacobi eqns, more than 150 years old, are indeed explained terribly in most places, including almost every textbook used in grad classes. Think about what that means for our mechanisms for storing and transmitting knowledge. Another example: blog.jessriedel.com/2017/06/28/leg…

@VittorioErba Hi! Yes it is. The raw data can be found on the TSA website under the COVID Stats. Or if you click on the TSA logo in my VIZ it should take you directly to the data.

@awwingman Hi! Is the dataset you used publicly available? That on MakeoverMonday has only monthly and not daily data if I didn't miss something trivial... Thanks!

@NotionHQ can I share a multiselect property across different tables? I would like to have a common list of tags to be used in different places.
