when ppl pejoratively talk of "class reductionism", theyre rly talking about economism. class never manifests "purely", in abstract-economistic terms, &is always-already constitutive/coterminous w/ race, gender, ethnicity &c. hence the nature of capitals 'integral fragmentation'.

@SolOnZanzibar @Sol20559932 In theory, a class reductionist should be extremely hostile to racist and nationalist thinking since it is objectively a tool of capitalist domination. I would say this is reflected in left com theory. The ICP has some great writings on the black uprisings of the late 60s.

most people think the class must first achieve subjective/organizational unity before it can fight. historically, the case was different. what actually occurs: diff class-segments enter into struggle in uneven conditions, at diff times w diff aims, & often w contradictory forms.

@AshesOfModern I think it really depends on what we mean by the term "communizer", I don't think Marx would be a communizer either but then again, I wouldn't classify IP or Troploin as "communizers" either

@ViveLa_Commune I’m nit sure if Marx would be a communizer if he was sent to present day. Most of his political ideas lined up with the left of SPD, and his beliefs on the use of the state etc.
