Everyone's doomsaying for Cong in 2028—fiscal bombs? Pothole apocalypse? Bengaluru floods? Meh. BJP left surplus, still tanked '23. Voters want jobs/dignity over audits. Anti-incumbency? Brutal. But Lingayat powerplay could flip it.

Narendra Modi's legacy? Be honest and ask yourself. Did you actually think article 370 will go? Did you hope to see Ram Mandir? Did you imagine Pakistani airbases being bombed on live TV? Now go even further back, and ask yourself. That feeling of watching something "impossible" happen, did you ever get it before him? To me that personal experience will be his legacy. Our generation experienced it. Others will have only numbers to debate.

South Korea and Japan are wondering what they have to do to satisfy this lunatic... Successful and prosperous cultures, but currently helpless without paying protection money to this gangster.. Japanese at least can feel this is karma for the greater east Asia Co prosperity sphere, but South Koreans didn't even invade anyone and still got stuck with this crisis..

Quoting the Gita doesn’t change the fact you lost fair and square Adani Bid • 14,500 crore • 6,000 crore paid upfront • remaining amount within 2 yrs Vedanta Bid • 16,500 crore, • payment spread over 5 years Creditors Committee found your bid less attractive as the Adani bid provided better immediate value and certainty. Vedanta’s litigation record • challenged the decision in NCLT - LOST • appealed to the NCLAT - LOST • appealed to the Supreme Court - denied a stay Real business decisions are made on financials + due process. Deliberate suppression of facts & philosophical Gita quotes wont change that

This morning, I was reading Chapter 15 of the Bhagavad Gita. One thought stayed with me. “Have courage. Stay humble. Do your duty without attachment.” Life tested this. Some years ago, Shri Jaiprakash Gaur, who built Jaypee Group, came to meet me in London. He had built an empire over his lifetime with hard work and vision. He reached out more than once. He wrote to me. His only wish was simple that what he had built should go into safe hands and be taken forward with the right intent. He even wrote me letters in Hindi, in his own words, expressing his trust. At that time, we could not proceed. Recently, the asset went into a public auction by CoC in the IBC process. Many strong bidders participated. Suddenly, the sentiment and wishes of Jaiprakash Gaur ji came rushing back to me. One by one, everyone dropped out of the bidding. Finally, we were declared the highest bidder publicly. It was a transparent process. We were informed in writing that we had won. But life is never so simple. After some days, the decision was changed. Don’t want to go into the details. That is for the right forum. But I want to share something from my heart. We have no attachment to this asset. If it comes, it is God’s grace. If it goes, that is also his wish. But one thing we believe strongly. When something is promised in dharma, it should not be taken back. In our scriptures also, we see this again and again. Truth, commitment, and fairness are above everything. So, what should one do? Gita gives a simple answer - do your duty, with courage, but without anger or attachment. That is what we will do. We will place the facts in the right way. We will follow the right path. Rest, I leave to God.

DULT Bangalore is a Rudderless, toothless body that has no influence. Their Comprehensive Mobility Plan is an example of that--just saying all the right things, but doing nothing. It's not their fault. That's how our systems are designed. DKS specifically has not appointed a BMLTA commissioner--BMLTA was supposed to replace DULT. Instead, DKS has created a B-SMILE whose decisions are questionable.

Word! The first step would be to call it BANGALORE and NOT Bengaluru in English. Of course, was and will always be ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು in Kannada. But the mangling of BengaLuru by non-Kannadadigas is eminently avoidable. Can we stick to Bangalore please.
Rajath@FoolzWizdom

Bangalore should have nomenclature of Bangalore, New Bangalore and NA Bangalore (Not Actually Bangalore) Much like Purani Dilli, New Delhi, and NCR to encompass the modern age chicken coops of chrome and glass: Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad and so on. Should be done, even if only to disabuse people living amongst malls and tech parks stop wondering what is in Bangalore after all?! I see their pain. Once you have had your pumpkin pie matcha latte, looked at a pink tree, spent a fortune shopping in a mall, and conned into eating ghee drenched food in the name of dosa or idli you are left writhing in distress of ‘Oh! what’s there in luru?’ There are tangible things: gayana samaja to venkatappa gallery, Gandhi Bazar steet vibes (even if you turn up your nose and say what’s there-I have seen you pull out your phone to take pictures of hoovina haara vendors) to the tall Veeranjaneyaswamy in Mahalakshmi Layout, from science museum to the fossilised tree trunk in a beautiful botanical garden, from Kaal soup places to gari gari uddin vade places, from a rickety toy train that can chug you back into childhood to neatly kept golf courses, from three storey high bougainvillaeas to parks carpeted yellow with copper pod flowers, from Rangashankara to Chowdiah.. Or if you are a shallow insta influenza you can buy ridiculously expensive artisan cheese in Koramangala or try to fit in with the rizz and aura of the W crowd in Indiranagar. I think such a nomenclature would cure the pain that is felt by some. Go for it Bangalore!

Skywalks I am okay with! As long as they connect to Metro Stations and prevent folks from crossing roads at big junctions (like Tin Factory, KR Puram).

CSK should have been banned until Srini gave up ownership or left the Prez post at BCCI. In any professionally run sport, that would have been the case. Given that it's India, and cricket--these things are overlooked. What undue benefits they accrued due to this CoI everyone knows. Of your 5 titles, 4 should be taken away for this CoI alone. So shut the fuck up and go your own way--no need to be a @greatbong lickspittle. He can defend himself.

@dankchikidang Good thing to accept is, words like Liberal and Democracy are just nice lexicon for debating in Daelhi studios and podcasts. Politics outside the studio is brutal and different--as we have always discussed.

I wonder what the mission was at the end of this? To become king of Lyari and hence--what? What benefit it was to RAW/India? The Unknown Gunmen bit I felt was the most disappointing--because it was just shown so casually--as if they got all ids/addresses overnight and it just happened (homage to Godfather-1 the way it was shown) and Zahoor Mistry's killing felt so cringe! There was no satisfaction at the end of it. Maybe my expectations that things would be orcestrated and not done single-handedly was the problem :D. Arjun Rampal looked so menacing in D1 and here he was reduced to a guy with daddy problems--you almost feel bad for him! His dad's character arc was the worst I have seen

Here’s to Shivkumar Panicker Some relationships in filmmaking aren’t built on a single film, they’re built over years of trust, instinct, and standing by each other when it matters the most. Shiv has been that for me and much more. He is not just my editor. He is my closest friend, my brother, my confidant, the kind of person whose loyalty is so absolute, it humbles you. The kind of person who would stand for you, fight for you and if it ever came to it, even lay everything on the line for you. And then there’s the genius. Shiv is, without a doubt, one of the sharpest and smartest film editors I have ever known. But what makes him truly exceptional is not just his craft, it’s his instinct. His understanding of rhythm, emotion, and storytelling is almost frighteningly precise. He doesn’t just edit a film, he breathes life into it. With Dhurandhar, what he pulled off feels nothing short of miracle. Yes, the decision to split the film into two parts was mine but the responsibility of making that decision work fell entirely on him. And the way he carried that on his shoulders, the way he shaped it, elevated it, and made it seamless was extraordinary. In timelines that were, quite honestly, the craziest I have ever seen. Where films of this scale take months, sometimes years to edit, Shiv delivered in a matter of days. Days. And not just delivered, he delivered excellence. The sharpest possible version of the film, under pressure that would break most people. What we achieved with Dhurandhar, the scale, the quality, the deadlines is unheard of. It breaks every conventional norm that filmmaking has followed for years. And a massive part of that credit belongs to him. But what makes this even more special is that his contribution didn’t begin in the edit room. He was there from the very beginning. Like a silent co-director. Through writing. Through prep. Through the chaos of shoot. Through post. Always present. Always thinking. Always pushing the film to be better. He never once allowed the pressure to dilute the work.
He never once chose convenience over conviction.
He never once stepped back. That integrity, that hunger, that loyalty is rare. And it’s something I will carry with me for life. The truth is, I don’t see myself making a film without him. Not now. Not ever. In many ways, he is my responsibility for life, just as much as he has made every film of mine his own. Some contributions can be measured. And then there are people like Shiv who become a part of your journey in a way that words can never fully capture. Endless love, respect, and gratitude. Dhurandhar will always carry his heartbeat within it. ❤️
