Meta just dropped the biggest Ad Library update ever: you can now sort any brand's ads by highest impressions 🤯
Which means you can see exactly which competitor ads are getting the most views.
@thedanielokon from ACTIV said "if someone can create an AI scraper to review the top 10 ads every week, I'd pay for that."
So I built it with Claude Code.
Here's how it works:
→ Import any brand with their Ad Library URL
→ Apify scrapes their top-performing ads automatically
→ Click into any ad for full breakdown (headline, copy, CTA)
→ Gemini watches the video or analyzes the image
→ Returns asset type, visual format, messaging angle, hook tactic, offer type
No manual research, no watching videos one by one, no messy spreadsheets.
Here's what I built:
- 50+ DTC brands already loaded (AG1, Caraway, Chomps, Dr. Squatch, Gruns, Jones Road, Magic Spoon, Ridge)
- Weekly auto-scrape to refresh top ads
- AI analysis on any ad in one click
- Bookmark system to save winners
- Filter by brand, category, media type, or AI tags
Built 100% in Claude Code, hosted on Replit.
I recorded a full step-by-step showing exactly how I built this.
Want to build your own version?
I'm giving away the prompts I used + the Claude Code starter template.

@therahulissar @matt____9000 Do you use CBO for your scaling campaign?

@matt____9000 Raise budgets + duplicate into scaling campaign

Here's why we're moving 80% of accounts from CBO to ABO in 2026:
THE CBO PROBLEM:
New creative launches get starved of spend. The algorithm over-indexes on existing winners and refuses to test new concepts properly despite using minimum spend.
OUR ABO STRUCTURE:
- Each ad set = specific persona or concept type
- New ads broken out into dedicated ad sets
- Budget allocation based on concept performance
- Track everything through Motion custom reports or spreadsheets
BUDGETING APPROACH:
Testing ad sets: $100-200/day
Proven concepts: $500-1,000/day
Winning personas: $1,500+/day
THE RESULTS:
- 3x more creative gets meaningful spend
- Easier to identify winning concepts to share with creative team
- Better data segmentation by persona
CBO works when you have 5-10 winning ads.
ABO works when you need to test 20+ concepts monthly.
Most brands are in the second category.
