In this geopolitical and macro backdrop, strengthening @Bakkt’s balance sheet is the right move given the opportunities ahead of us.
This capital allows us to:
• Protect the downside
• Advance our strategic and distribution initiatives — including Bakkt Agent
• Act offensively and execute on our product roadmap with greater certainty
I remain one of the largest shareholders, fully intend to exercise my options with my own capital, and am building for the long term alongside our shareholders.
Dilution is never ideal. I believe that, over the long arc of time, this will be viewed as a prudent decision.
Looking forward to our Investor Day on March 17.
