Yesterday a VoGAFL League One game, both Island Marine Development managers Dylan Clarke and Calum Thomas, 23, Vale of Glamorgan Rovers, manager Oscar Bryant, 17, & the ref Sam Roddis, 16. Football in the Vale has a great future with so many youngsters getting involved 👏👏

Across the @VoGAFL & the wider @SouthWalesFA area, as part of Remembrance Weekend, a minute's silence took place before many fixtures. This was at Sully this morning prior to the fixture between @sullysportsfc u14s & @BarryAthleticFC Greens. The minute was impeccably observed.

It was the 1st day of @VoGAFL junior fixtures yesterday. Every single junior & senior game was covered by an appointed Match Official. This bucks the trend of uncovered fixtures in grassroots football & has not happened by accident. ⚽👏 (1)

This Saturday sees VoGAFL Premier Division Champions play @CAFC2nds VoGAFL Championship Champions @ValeMadrid_FC in the historic ASRS Charity Cup. The game is at Jenner Park 6pm kick off, all proceeds will be donated to our chosen charity of MacMillan Cancer Support.

Cwm Talwg lift the Barry Cup, becoming the first team outside the vale top flight to win the esteemed cup in ten years. A stunning 5-1 victory to upset Premier Division Tynewydd. Cwm Talwg completing a cup double and promotion, well done all 🏆🏆

Twenty one years since it was last won the Goodwood Cup was lifted by Porthkerry Panthers yesterday as they came out 3-1 winners vs Ely Rangers Reserves Wenvoe at Jenner Park 🏆 well done all involved

A unique Steve Williams u15 junior cup final yesterday as it was contested by two teams from @CoganCoroAFC - the Dragons winning 2-1 against the Pirates. Well done all 🏆
