Fit For Girls Sharing and Learning Event. Our S5 Fit for Girls Ambassadors attended the Fit For Girls sports outland national event. They are now feeling even more inspired to continue to make positive changes to get more girls, more active, more often in VOLA! 😊

Netball will start back tomorrow after school from 3.50-4.50pm in the games hall. If you want to join or try it out then make sure to come along and join us. Looking forward to seeing all the netballers tomorrow 💛

Girl football will be starting up tomorrow during lunch time in the P.E department and will run every wednesday. 12.35-1.20 (S3-S6 pupils) 1.25- 2.10 (S1 &S2 pupils) You don’t need any football experience so feel free to come along and try.

🎅🏼Social Dance 🎅🏼 Our first week of social dance is done and we have been so impressed with the effort, respect and attitude our young people have shown. We can’t wait to teach new dances next week. We hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Four of our fantastic senior sports council members are helping at a WD primary netball tournmanet today. These girls continue to show great confidence and leadership qualities which we are sure they will take into their next chapter. We are so proud of you all 🥹

Our S2 boys faced St Thomas in the first round of the Crooksten Cup. VOLA were hungry for the win, ending the half with a 5-0 lead. Displaying a dominating first half. Game 5-4 after some efforts on and off the pitch from St Thomas in the second half. MOTM - Johnny Napier

🏓 Table Tennis 🏓 We are so happy that Terry from Drumchapel Table Tennis Club will be coming back in to do table tennis after school on Wednesdays from 3pm-4pm. This is aimed towards our senior pupils to help prepare them for National and Higher qualifications.

Today I got to take the senior girls to try my sport! They loved trying something new and done great at their first crossfit session 🏋🏼‍♀️💜 Thanks to Will @CrossFitAPC for having our girls for a session! @VoLAPEDept
